Announced state funding for the Schenectady Police Department this week that will implement a new Virtual Reality PD training system for police trainees. Using the VR system officers are able to engage in simulated real-world situations that can help better prepare for encounters while on patrol. An operator can determine the type of situations the trainee may be subjected to from a nearby computer and can offer a number of changing environments. | Angelo Santabarbara
