The Post-Gazette Fabulous 22 is a tradition unlike any other in Western Pennsylvania. For 45 years, we’ve highlighted the best high school football players from around the region and delivered it to you on Thanksgiving Day. This year, for the first time in rich history of the Fab 22, the Post-Gazette will host a celebration party on behalf of the 22 awarded individuals. Over the course of one summer day, the Post-Gazette sent reporters and photographers into the pockets of Downtown Pittsburgh that most people see only in fleeting glimpses. From restaurants to apartment buildings, from a historic park to a torn up Market Square, people had things to say about the city center.
