The Fool's Traverse (previously known as the 11 Peak Traverse) is a hiking challenge located in the San Gabriel Mountains that ascends 11 peaks in the Mt Baldy area. While the original route includes the Bear Canyon trail near the Baldy Village, I decided to take the Ski Hut Trail on this outing. I have done the FULL route both clockwise and counter clockwise in years prior, but due to the fire damage on the Bear Canyon trail, I decide to exclude that segment and walk the Mount Baldy road instea
