Leveraging the affinity of cancer cells for iron to initiate ferroptosis is a promising strategy in the fight against cancer. Cancer cells often have a high demand for iron, as they require it for rapid growth and proliferation. This characteristic makes them particularly vulnerable to ferroptosis. By exploiting this vulnerability, we are creating a new avenue for cancer treatment, especially for types of cancer that are resistant to traditional therapies like chemotherapy and radiation. #Cancer
