12/27/25 as I was learning a new piano piece i stumbled upon this hymn, a very old hymn. I dont think alot of people are familiar with this. "Almost persuaded" by Philip Bliss. The story behind Philip Bliss's hymn comes from a sermon by Rev Brundage on acts 26:28, where king Agrippa told Paul, " Almost thou persuaded me to be a christian." Bliss was deeply moved by the preacher's powerful closing line, " he who is almost persuaded is almost saved, but to be almost saved is to be entirely lost."
