Students from the @thenorthwestschool were here recently for a tour with Victrinia of @issho_en . Here she is quizzing them on the age of this Korean Yew bonsai in our collection. This Korean Yew (Taxus cuspidata) has been in training as a bonsai since 1986, when bonsai artist Su Hyung Yoo collected it from Seorak Mountain in South Korea.
