This past Saturday, in between essential ice-breaking operations, Coast Guard Cutter Neah Bay (WTGB 105) conducted ice rescue training, while hove to in the Western Basin of #LakeErie Once the training was complete, command determined the surrounding ice was safe enough to grant liberty, so that the available crew could walk around as the ice rescue team supervised.
