Pierce County’s 2024 Comprehensive Plan is a 20-year vision for growth and healthy communities throughout Pierce County! The updated plan officially went into effect last week. Here are some of the highlights: 🏠 Affordable Housing: Retaining and developing affordable housing options. 🌳 Conserve Open Spaces: Protecting our farms and forests, and increasing the amount of trees in urban areas. 💼 Job Opportunities: Creating jobs that pay predictable living wages and support sustainable industries
