No one cares about how fast your easy run pace is! In order to follow 80/20 running, 80% of your mileage should be relaxed and easy. This will allow you to really put a solid effort in for the other 20% of your weekly mileage! I did a 4:15 pace at track last week for 5 X 1600m. Today I ran almost 2 minutes per km slower for my easy run. Make sure there’s a good difference between your speed and easy days.
