SUBSTANDARD NA MATERYALES SA BUSTOS DAM SA BULACAN INAMIN NG NIA SA SENADO WATCH: The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) has admitted before the Senate that substandard materials were used in the Bustos Dam in Bulacan, following questions from Sen. Joel Villanueva during the budget hearing. Villanueva raised concerns that the damaged rubber gates—blamed on extreme heat—could endanger the livelihood of over 12,900 farmers and cause ₱2.69 billion in agricultural losses if not replaced soon.

Nagpaalala naman ang PDRRMO-Bulacan sa mga residente sa sa mga bayan ng Norzagaray, Angat, Bustos, San Rafael, Baliwag, Plaridel, Pulilan, Calumpit, Paombong, at Hagonoy na iwasan muna ang pangingisda at anumang aktibid
