Al adored drummer Terri Lyne Carrington🥁. They had a very special and enduring relationship. She appeared in his official video for "What You Do For Me" and their friendship continued until Al's death. He was so proud of Terri. About a year after she left the drummer seat in Arsenio Hall's house band, she returned to perform with Al on "It's Not Hard To Love You." We wish Terri Lyne a very happy birthday today. | Al Jarreau
