Nov 24, 2024 · The algorithm of course doesn't have realistic expectations for how to get to a passenger. That, or Uber just wants an excuse not to give out cancel fees. I also frequently get the "looks like you're making a detour, Rider May cancel " message when Uber GPS wants to route me through a closed gate or the wrong way down a one-way street.
