Learn to tweak the equaliser. And xm3 can give you very good sound. The ANC actually improve the sound bcz 90% noises are cutoff.

The Bose are more comfortable. So basically it's between ANC (Sony) or better sound and being more comfortable (Bose). If you want both, AirPods Max.
