The Sigerson Cup / ˈ s ɪ ɡ ər s ə n / is the trophy for the premier Gaelic football championship among Higher Education institutions (Universities, Colleges and Institutes of Technology) in Ireland. It traditionally begins in mid January and ends in late February.
