Feb 1, 2019 · Of course, Magic is a bit too complicated to explain and show a game of within the pages that Weekly Shounen Jump will give a single manga chapter, and also owned by Wizards of the Coast, so instead of "Magic: The Gathering", the characters played "Magic and Wizards", a lawyer-friendly variation on Magic with simplified rules.

On a base level, magic the gathering is much harder to understand because the basic mechanic of the game is much harder to keep track of. However, when you move into the advanced and obscure levels of both games the specific mechanics and rules of yugioh become much more difficult to obtain a firm grasp on then in magic.
