Underground museum of mining will be opened in Bulgaria's Madan
Today, May 12, the Spoluka mine in the town of Madan in the Rhodope Mountain will be officially opened as a site for mining tourism, the municipal administration announced. The Spoluka Underground Mining Museum is the only one of its kind in the Balkans and will now be available for tourist visits, presenting the history of mining in the region.
