Oct 2, 2015 · there is an angle manipulator in Extrude, but it is for setting the draft angle on the Extrude. It's not really for Extruding at an angle. For that, you need Sweep - define another sketch with a line at the angle you want, then use Sweep to create that angled "extrusion". Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.

Jan 25, 2018 · If you turn the sketch off and use the inspect tool, hover the mouse pointer around the circular edges near the quadrants you can pick up 3 points and get the angle without drawing anything. This might not alway work, sometimes the points don't line up but then you could create an axis through 2 points. Mark

Dec 13, 2023 · I am looking to find an easier and more efficient way to design projects out of angle iron. Right now, my method of creating angle iron is using the line command and essentially drawing my side profile of the angle (ex. 2"x2"x1/8") and extruding to whatever length I need.

Aug 22, 2020 · No problem doing that BUT I only want 3 sides extruded at an angle, I need the 4th side to stay at 90degs. Right now the only way that I see to do this is by adding a sketch on my unwanted 4th side angle and cutting the angle off. Or I can use a Distance and Angle Chamfer of 4.37 @ 85degs on the 3 sides I need at the 5 deg angle.
