Caitlin Clark Makes Decision on WNBA 3-Point Contest

The WNBA 3-Point Contest and Skills Competition kick off All-Star Weekend at Gainbridge Arena in Indianapolis on Friday night. Here is how tune into the festivities.
The Aflac bonuses are significantly more than the $2,575 the league offers its All-Star players and individual competition winners. Last year, Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray won both the 3-point contest and the skills contest and took home $110,000 in prize money from Aflac and $5,150 from the league.
The WNBA's top playmakers will dribble and pass through the Skills Challenge, and then the best long-range shooters try the 3-Point Contest.
Gray is the reigning 3-point contest champion and she leads the league in 3-point percentage (38%) of players with at least 100 attempts, so she probably deserves a bit more respect here. But she's cooled off a bit recently, and I think the next player will be a little more motivated to have a good showing.
One of Caitlin Clark's teammates on the Indiana Fever will take her spot in the WNBA 3-point contest this weekend. On Friday morning the WNBA announced that Lexie Hull will replace Clark and represent the host city in the competition.
HOUSTON — 713 Day, Houston’s unofficial holiday, celebrations continued with a little help from the Rockets. The franchise sponsored a 3-point contest in downtown, bringing out fans and Hall of Famer and WNBA Legend, former Houston Comets powerhouse, Sheryl Swoopes.
