In the Eastern Pacific, where hurricane season began on May 15 and where storms typically form before they do in the Atlantic, has been off to a busy start. Four storms have already formed off the west coast of North America: Alvin, Barbara, Cosme and Dalila. Both seasons run through Nov. 30.

Storms will move out of Kansas by daybreak Sunday. It will be a warm day with afternoon high temperatures reaching the mid 80s to lower 90s. More storms will be possible late Sunday evening and into the night over northwest Kansas. A few more storms will be possible Monday evening again over northwest Kansas.
