Buffy the Vampire Slayer legend Sarah Michelle Gellar has been praised by a new co-star for turning up on set every day to act as an advisor for the series' lore. And yes, that includes describing exactly how people should look when they're bitten by a vampire.

In a surprising departure from the original series, newly released photos from the Los Angeles set of the reboot show Gellar, 48, dressed up in a radiant red mini dress with long sleeves, pink stilettos and a Yves Saint Laurent Sac de Jour handbag.

Sarah Michelle Gellar has officially reprised her role as Buffy Summers in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot. Check out the first look of the actress filming on set in Los Angeles.
