A magnitude 3.5 earthquake struck in San Bernardino County on Tuesday afternoon, causing shaking felt as far as Los Angeles and Riverside counties. It happened at around 4:55 p.m. nearly four miles from Rialto, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake was at a depth of more than 3.5 miles. People reported feeling the earthquake in parts of Riverside and even Los Angeles counties as well.
