Although some fans would prefer Atlus prioritise an original entry, namely the still absent Persona 6, there’s mounting suspicion that the next game will be a remake of 2008’s Persona 4.

So it’s credible that Atlus is planning a remake of Persona 4. This one in particular has a lot of spinoffs, but only one remake since the PlayStation 2 original: Persona 4 Golden.

However, Atlus hasn’t confirmed any plans to remaster Persona 2 and Persona 4 at this point, so take this with a pinch of salt for the time being.
