India's Paytm reported a narrower sequential third-quarter adjusted loss on Monday as its digital payments business recovered from the winding down of its payments bank unit. The company posted a loss of 2.

Paytm reported a slight improvement in its Q3 FY25 results, with a 10% QoQ revenue growth and a reduced net loss.

Results: Paytm’s consolidated revenue from operations in Q3FY25 dropped 36% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,827.8 crore from ₹2,850.5 crore. However, Paytm’s revenue rose 10% sequentially.

On a quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q) basis, Paytm's revenue grew 10 percent due to increase in GMV, growth in subscription revenues and increase in revenues from distribution of financial services, the firm said.

Financial services revenue increased sharply to Rs 502 crore, reflecting a jump of 34 per cent QoQ, while payment services revenue grew to Rs 1059 crore, up 8 per cent QoQ.

The company's revenue was ₹1,827.80 crore, which was a fall of 35.87 per cent or ₹1,022.70 crore, compared to ₹2,850.50 crore seen during the third quarter of the previous year. However, its total loss narrowed down to ₹208.
