Pakistan vowed retaliation after India launched missiles toward its neighbor in response to a deadly terrorist attack in the disputed region of Kashmir.

Indian officials are expected to brief the media on the military operation at 10:00 local time (04:30GMT). India says it launched "targeted strikes on nine terrorist infrastructure sites" in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir and that no military, civilian or economic facilities were targeted.
