Cities large and small were preparing for major demonstrations Saturday across the U.S. against Trump, as officials urge calm and National Guard troops mobilize.

Organizers of the "No Kings" rallies that swept across the nation June 14 said the protests drew large crowds that marched against the Trump administration.

"I have directed my entire Administration to put every resource possible behind this effort," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.

"It's simple, I don't want a king running my country," she told reporters.
