Neil Young has voiced his support for Bruce Springsteen after US President Donald Trump labelled the legendary New Jersey-born singer/songwriter "a pushy, obnoxious JERK" and "Highly Overrated'.
"I am not scared of you," the Canadian American musician told Trump in a Monday night post on his personal website.
Young’s remarks come after Trump attacked Springsteen for criticizing his administration. In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump called the “Born to Run” singer “highly overrated” and a “dried out prune.”
While Neil Young expressed gratitude toward Bruce Springsteen for speaking out, he urged Donald Trump to focus on issues and not on the opinions of musicians.
