A rift between Melania Trump and Hunter Biden has escalated with Hunter Biden's refusal to apologize for an allegation he made about the first lady and Jeffrey Epstein.

President Donald Trump confirmed Thursday morning that Melania Trump’s attorneys are threatening legal action against Hunter Biden, saying he told her to “go forward.”

Trump threatened to file a lawsuit against Hunter Biden, the son of former President Joe Biden, accusing him of making "false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements" during an interview in which he claimed Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to her husband, President Donald Trump.
