Max Verstappen has outlined how Red Bull needs to be “more competitive” if it is to have any hope of taking the Formula 1 title fight to McLaren. The Dutchman was able to take a small chunk out of title-leader Oscar Piastri’s advantage with second place in the Canadian Grand Prix, finishing second with the Australian only managing fourth.

Red Bull Racing asked FIA race director Rui Marques to look out for any gamesmanship from drivers towards Max Verstappen prior to the Canadian Grand Prix.
