Right before the Los Angeles Dodgers were set to play the San Francisco Giants, the Giants pulled off a blockbuster deal. They acquired Rafael Devers from the Red Sox for a couple of players, including the Giants starter for the game that night, Kyle Harrison.

In a five-player trade between the Boston Red Sox and the San Francisco Giants, Boston was able to go out and get a much-needed left-handed bat to upgrade their lineup for a push in the NL West.
