Los Angeles Angels outfielder Jo Adell added an extra workout, which appears to have worked given his recent surge of home runs. Adell spent 30 minutes hitting the ball off of a tee this week, per the Orange County Register's Jeff Fletcher.

Adell has three homers this week, after spending 30 minutes hitting off a tee in what he calls a “reset.” Adell was hot in June, but then he struggled in July.

Adell’s home run robbery on Sunday shows what the team believes is improvement in center field, though the metrics still show Adell as one of the worst defensive center fielders in the majors.

After the Angels looked flat in their first two games against the Athletics coming off their three-game sweep over the Dodgers, Jo Adell helped jump-start the offense and made sure the club came away with a win in the series finale.
