A man was hospitalized in stable condition following a shooting in Hartford on Monday evening. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Albany Avenue around 7 p.m. on a ShotSpotter notification, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police Department.

HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - Hartford police are investigating a shooting Monday evening. Police say the shooting took place at around 7 p.m. in the area of 1392 Albany Avenue. The victim, a man in his 30s, was alert and conscious when officers arrived. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Hartford police found a gunshot victim on Albany Avenue while responding to an alert from their gunshot detection system Monday evening, police said.
