Across the Triad, North Carolinians are remembering Martin Luther King Jr. The city of Greensboro held its annual memorial breakfast, an event it has put on every year since the holiday’s inception in 1986.

A man on a motorcycle was killed after being hit by a car Sunday, according to the Greensboro Police Department. A press release states that at 3:47 p.m. Saturday, the GPD responded to a vehicle crash with injuries in the 600 block of Martin Luther King Jr.

Officers said 19-year-old Noah Raymond Way was driving his motorcycle northbound on MLK Jr. Drive when he collided with a Honda Accord. That caused the motorcycle to run off the road and crash into a telephone pole. Way was elected from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cuomo Florida Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a driver responsible for causing a deadly and fiery crash at a Florida intersection on Friday evening. The FDNY responded on Friday morning after an MTA bus was hanging off an overpass near New York City's Henry Hudson Parkway.
