Gautam Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director of The Raymond Ltd, Founder of the Super Car Club of India posted on X about a Lamborghini that caught fire. He raised an important question in his post about vehicle safety.

Raymond Group's chairman Gautam Singhania shared the video of the blazing Lamborghini and raised questions on the safety standards of the high-end car.

Gautam Singhania raised concerns over safety of Lamborghini in India, In the 11-second clip, there was smoke coming out from the rear of the vehicle, while a man was using a fire extinguisher to douse the flame.

The Lamborghini luxury car, worth nearly ₹9 crore (ex-showroom), was seen engulfed in flames on the Coastal Road in Mumbai.

Over the years, Singhania has taken aim at several luxury and performance car brands like Lamborghini, Maserati, and Porsche.

A fire broke out inside a moving Lamborghini car on the Coastal Road in Mumbai on Wednesday night, officials said. No injuries are reported in the incident which occurred at around 10.20 pm. A fire brigade official said one fire engine was promptly dispatched to the spot. The blaze was doused in approximately 45 minutes.

Gautam Singhania, who is also a sports car enthusiast, raised concerns about the safety standards of Lamborghini, blasting the company in his post.

Singhania expressed concerns about the safety of the Lamborghini, writing, "Spotted by me: A Lamborghini engulfed in flames on Coastal Road, Mumbai. Incidents like this raise serious concerns about the reliability and safety standards of Lamborghini. For the price and reputation, one expects uncompromising quality—not potential hazards."

Several videos of the incident is circulating on social media platforms, the clips show flames inside the orange-colored car with a Gujarat registration number, with a man trying to put them out.
