SUMNER COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - Flash flooding caused multiple crashes and led to multiple water rescue operations in Sumner and Robertson counties Sunday night, according to Smokey Barn News. SBN reports multiple vehicles were stranded in the 700 block of Bowling Branch Road due to flooding. There are some reports of people trapped in the vehicles.
The Flood Watch has been extended until 10 p.m. Many of these areas are still recovering from bouts of flash flooding over the weekend. Allegheny, Greene, Fayette, Washington, Westmoreland along with Garrett, Monongalia, and Preston counties are included in the watch.
