The Dragon Bravo Fire exploded in size to 105,415 acres along the Grand Canyon’s North Rim on Thursday as heat and strong winds drove the growth.

A wildfire in northern Arizona has grown thousands of acres in just a few days as firefighters continue to work to regain containment.

The Dragon Bravo Fire is now the largest wildfire ever recorded in the Grand Canyon, burning more than 111,000 acres. The fire continues to grow to the north, but at the South Rim, crews are about 11 miles from the flames.
