Delhi Capitals handed Royal Challengers Bangalore their fourth consecutive defeat with a dominant nine-wicket victory on Saturday, March 1. The win helped DC qualify for the playoffs this season.

Delhi Capitals beat defending Women's Premier League champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru by nine wickets to book their place in the play-offs. Australia's Jess Jonassen and India's Shafali Verma added an unbroken stand of 146 for the second wicket as Delhi reached their target of 148 inside 15.3 overs.

As the 2025 edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) heads to Lucknow for the third leg of the tournament, two-time finalist Delhi Capitals became the first side to book a playoffs spot in this edition.
