Charlie Woods is not in the field to defend his title this week at one of the South Florida PGA's annual "Junior Major" tournaments. Woods, a rising junior and son of legendary golfer Tiger Woods, is the reigning champion of the South Florida PGA Junior Cup after winning last year's event at the BallenIsles East Course in Palm Beach Gardens.

Charlie Woods is back in action just a week after missing the cut at the 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship in Dallas, where he struggled through stroke play.

Charlie Woods is one of 312 amateur golfers slated to compete at the Junior PGA Championships at Purdue this week. He's the son of Tiger, who has watched him before.
