The ongoing feud between NXT champion Ethan Page and Trick Williams added a new twist. Roxanna Perez and Giulia also continue to add momentum towards their championship match. Both feuds will get a chance to settle the score in the ring with title matches in the first CW episode.

Trick Williams defeated Pete Dunne to earn a shot at the NXT Championship on October 1st. Williams was able to outlast Dunne in a Last Man Standing match on the September 10th episode of NXT.

Drew McIntyre, the rival of WWE Superstar CM Punk, shared his thoughts on Punk’s segment with NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. As WWE NXT prepares for its debut on The CW on October 1, CM Punk will appear in Chicago for the premiere episode.

This week's episode of WWE NXT featured tons of action outside of the ring. Trick Williams and Pete Dunne fought it out in the main event in a Last Man Standing match. The Bloodline also made a surprise appearance to extend a main roster feud. Giulia also made her in-ring NXT debut. She collected a win over Chelsea Green in a strong outing.

CM Punk will be the special guest referee when Ethan Page defends his NXT Championship against Trick Williams on the October 1st episode of NXT in Chicago. Punk made the announcement on the Spetember 17th episode of NXT after Williams and Page signed the contract for the match.

Drew McIntyre has sent a strong message to CM Punk ahead of their Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood 2024. Their rivalry started at the 2024 Royal Rumble and has since become increasingly personal.
