Former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman believes George Kittle will see an increased role following the Deebo Samuel trade.

The 49ers may have moved on from Deebo Samuel, but their salary cap will still take a hit. San Francisco will take a $31 million dead cap hit, which comes from money that had already been paid to Samuel that hadn’t counted against the team’s salary cap due to the structure of his contract.

Receiver Deebo Samuel called his departure from San Francisco "bittersweet" but said Washington was always one of his preferred destinations after requesting a trade from the 49ers in part because of quarterback Jayden Daniels.
