Isiah Whitlock Jr., best known for his role as the corrupt state senator Clay Davis on “The Wire,” has died at the age of 71.
His 120-plus film and TV credits included frequent collaborations with director Spike Lee. He was also known for his creative delivery of a four-letter word.
