Drake is suing his record label for spreading a “false and malicious narrative” when it released and promoted Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

The leading hip-hop superstar beef has been cranked up another notch, with Drake suing Universal Music Group for defamation over rival Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us.”

In the documents, Drake claims that UMG knew that Lamar's lyrics and images in the song's music video, were false and dangerous, and that the song's release and promotion are an example of valuing "corporate greed over the safety and well-being of its artists.
