The Indiana Fever have had to make due without their superstar guard Caitlin Clark for 13 of their 23 games so far this season, a challenging fact of life that has hindered coach Stephanie White's team's potential.

Clark has had other muscle-related injuries this season (left groin, quad tightness, quad strain). She’s missed 11 of the Fever’s 24 games this season, as well as the Commissioner’s Cup title game victory over the first-place Minnesota Lynx.

The injury caused Clark to miss the All-Star Game, which was hosted by the Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, and she also missed Indiana's first game back after the All-Star break. Clark won't return to the lineup Thursday for a matchup against the Aces, either, and it still remains unclear when she'll next be able to suit up.
