Bong Joon Ho and Robert Pattinson kicked off the long-awaited launch of Mickey 17 with the first official press event for the movie in the Korean capital of Seoul on Monday.

Oscar-winning filmmaker Bong Joon Ho returns to the big screen with Mickey 17, a sci-fi film starring Robert Pattinson. The film will premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in March. Bong shares his creative goals and discusses the casting of Pattinson.

For those who don’t know, Mickey 17 marks director Bong Joon-ho’s first movie after his successful movie Parasite (2019). The movie premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where it became the first Korean film to win its top prize. Mickey 17 will be released on the big screens on March 7, 2025.
