Crews repairing numerous water main breaks in extreme cold
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - Crews across the region are working in the extreme cold Wednesday to resolve water main breaks. A City of Toledo spokesperson told 13 Action News there are five water main breaks as of Wednesday afternoon at the following locations:
Traffic on Winton Road impacted by water main break
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - A water main break impacted traffic Thursday. It happened on Winton Road in Springfield Township. Authorities said Winton Road was down to one lane between McKelvey Road and Sarbrook Drive as a result, adding that it remains unclear when the repairs will be completed.
Crews repair water main break in East Brunswick; part of Ryder's Lane closed
Residents may experience low water pressure and/or discolored water. In addition, residents in the immediate area may lose water service during the repair process.
Large water main break in Birmingham's Ensley area could cause icy traffic issues
The initial water main break affected residents in the Tuxedo Junction area, including the Tuxedo Terrace housing community. Residents in the Ensley Park area will be affected as efforts to repair the break continue. Those areas will have little to no water while repair work is in progress.
Maize experiencing ‘significant’ water main break
The City of Maize is dealing with a significant water main break near Irma and James. The city said efforts are underway to isolate the issue and restore service as quickly as possible. “We understand this may affect some residents and appreciate your patience while our team works to resolve the situation,” said the city in a post on Facebook.
