Singer-music composer Vishal Dadlani challenged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday to take a "chunky glug" from the river at the Maha Kumbh Mela site in Prayagraj after a report claimed the presence of "high levels of faecal contamination" in the Sangam water.

A recent report of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has raised concern over the presence of high levels of faecal bacteria and total coliform in Kumbh water. However, CM Yogi Adityanath dismissed the claims and said it was "fit for drinking".

Vishal Dadlani responded to Yogi Adityanath's dismissal of faecal bacteria claims in Sangam waters, suggesting the UP CM drink directly from the river on camera to prove its safety.
