The DC protest was the largest in the Washington area, but there also gatherings throughout the DMV, including Arlington, Falls Church, McLean, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and Silver Spring. According to organizers, more than 7 million people participated in more than 2,700 events in all 50 states.
Pedro Pascal and Kerry Washington were among the A-list stars who joined the No Kings Day protests against President Donald Trump.
Nearly 7 million protesters flooded into streets chanting, marching and waving homemade signs across the country.
“It's all upsetting. Seeing sort of a fascist authoritarian, seeing that sort of cosplay that the right wing has been fooling around with for so long, seeing it kind of devolve into the real thing is predictable, but deeply saddening,” he said, before adding to Trump: “Go to hell.”
