PHOENIX (AZFamily/AP) — Val Kilmer, a Hollywood actor whose career spanned decades and known for his roles in Top Gun, The Doors, Tombstone and Batman Forever, has died. He was 65 years old.

Val Kilmer, an actor best known for his leading roles in "The Doors", "Top Gun", "Tombstone" and "Batman Forever" died on April 1, 2025. He was 65.

Kilmer also starred in many classic films of the 1980s and 1990s such as “Tombstone,” “Heat” and “Real Genius.” Val Kilmer died from pneumonia.
