Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson reaffirmed he is not planning to propose a tax increase in this year’s budget proposal. Instead he is considering several "tax-the-rich" options.

As he calls on Chicago’s “billionaires and ultra rich” to “put more skin in the game,” Mayor Brandon Johnson said a per-employee head tax is “an option.”
