The Washington Mystics’ rookies have stood out in the early days — while Paige Bueckers has shown flashes of brilliance in her first games in the WNBA.
In Thursday's episode, Rapinoe referred to Bueckers as "The Rizz Daddy Paige," teasing that, given Dallas’s sweltering temperatures, "you know we’re going to be seeing some jorts because she’s in Dallas and it’s hot."

UConn women's basketball player Azzi Fudd was seen at her former teammate Paige Bueckers' WNBA game in her home state of Minnesota.
Bueckers was a big star at Hopkins High School in Minnetonka, Minn., and she then moved on to UConn, where she truly started to make her name. With the Huskies, she averaged 19.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists a game while shooting 53.1% from the field and 42.3% from 3-point range.
Paige Bueckers played her third WNBA game on Wednesday night, posting 12 points and 10 assists in a four-point loss to the Minnesota Lynx. As belied by the statline the former UConn superstar isn't having too much trouble acclimating to the professional game—which includes making her thoughts about officiating very clear.
