Justin Ishbia, brother of former MSU basketball walk-on Mat Ishbia and co-owner on the Suns, has donated $10M to Michigan State athletics.

Michigan State athletics received a big donation this week from one of the university's biggest donor families.

A sizable chunk — $1.5 million — is specifically aimed at refurbishing and upgrading the school’s baseball stadium.

Justin and Kristen Ishbia are making a $1.5 million donation to the MSU baseball program to support baseball facility upgrades and program development.

In the past, Michigan State athletics has received donations from former Michigan State men’s basketball player and current chairman and CEO of United Wholesale Mortgage Mat Ishbia. Now another Ishbia is giving back to the university’s athletic department.

Justin and Kristen Ishbia continue to live by the “Spartan for life” mantra. The couple just announced a $10 million donation to Michigan State University’s Athletic Department.

Spartan alumni Kristen and Justin Ishbia donated $10 million to the athletics department, the university announced Tuesday. The donation includes $8.5 million for the men’s basketball and baseball programs and $1.5 million in previous name, image and likeness funds for athletes.
